A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has exceeded one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their news eurovita risks to young people and communities.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
